A PowerPoint-based exam skills guide for the Higher Modern Studies Paper 2 objectivity question (10 marks), using nuclear weapons disarmament as context.
It teaches pupils to identify accuracy statements, use evaluative language, structure paragraphs of support and opposition with all sources, and write balanced conclusions avoiding absolutes.
Presented to the Modern Studies Association in November 2020, drawing on the 2019 Paper 2 objectivity question. Pairs well with the Israel & Deterrence and Morality resources.
