Pressure Groups

This module explores how pressure groups operate in a democracy. Part of the “Nuclear Weapons: Yes or No?” series, it covers how organisations like CND campaign for change, and asks pupils to weigh up the rights and responsibilities of pressure groups.

Activities include video, discussion, and creative challenges such as designing posters and writing leaflets. Suitable for National 4/5 and Higher Modern Studies, and Higher English.
